Design Phase

The first phase is to design the body of the Aventador. Thankfully, I found some blueprints of the car, which helped me understand the proportions immensely. It was a just a matter of setting up the images on the front, right, top and a "back" plane and 3D sketching the outlines. These lines are surface extruded to form the body of the car.

First Render

The first try on KeyShot really opens up your eyes on how simplified rendering a design is. today. You can drag and drop preset materials and textures on your design and preview real-time. The renders are realistic and do not consume too much time, depending on the number of samples. I did 30 samples and it turned out okay! (didn't want to burn out my laptop processor).

Completed Body

The body is completed mostly with surface extrusions. The lights are done similarly and protrudes inwards from the outer shell. The logo is set as a decal and the front grilles are done as linear patterns of a long hexagonal shape.

Discolored For Render

The full assembly is created with the body, wheels, spoiler and wipers. All appearances are removed and the assembly is exported as one solid body to be rendered in KeyShot.

Second Render

The render of the rear end of the Aventador came out so nice, I had to angle it this way. The reflections also came out better in this angle.

Isometric View

This render is edited with Adobe Lightroom to give a milder, vignette effect, akin to a garage environment.
